SheetFormulaTools is a static spreadsheet workflow site for building copyable Excel and Google Sheets formulas without uploading spreadsheet files.
You type ranges, criteria, and sample values manually. The site does not ask for workbook files.
Formula builders assemble outputs from built-in spreadsheet rules rather than an AI service.
There is no sign-up, dashboard, saved history, subscription, or database-backed workspace.
What this site is for
- Building common spreadsheet formulas such as SUMIFS, XLOOKUP, QUERY, FILTER, COUNTIFS, duplicate checks, and date differences.
- Copying working formula examples with small sample tables and troubleshooting notes.
- Cleaning lightweight CSV headers and using free CSV templates for simple spreadsheet workflows.
What this site is not
- It is not an AI formula generator.
- It is not a spreadsheet upload or file analysis service.
- It is not a SaaS product with accounts, saved files, or paid template downloads.
How formulas are checked
Formula builders use deterministic browser logic, and automated tests check their generated formula strings against known inputs. Formula pages pair sample data with a stated result and link to relevant Microsoft or Google documentation so you can verify function behavior and version requirements.
Site checks also verify that formula pages build correctly, copy controls point to the displayed formula, and required examples and troubleshooting details are present. These checks do not mean that every formula has been run manually in every version of Excel and Google Sheets.
Supported boundaries
- Dynamic-array functions such as FILTER, UNIQUE, and XLOOKUP require a spreadsheet version that supports them.
- Excel and Google Sheets can differ in available functions, array behavior, separators, and external-workbook syntax; formula pages call out practical differences where they matter.
- Imported dates, text-formatted numbers, hidden spaces, and regional settings can change a result even when the formula itself is valid.
Report a formula problem
Use the contact page to report an incorrect formula or result. Include the page URL, the formula you copied, a small anonymized sample, the result you received, and whether you used Excel or Google Sheets. Do not send a workbook or private spreadsheet data.
